There has never been a festival-concert in the heart of Golden Prague to attract the local as well as the foreign audience in the middle of summer… There has never been a reason for the owners of small and big boats to come to one place, tens of thousands people to stop in the area of Charles Bridge, Kampa Park and Střelecký Island. There is a reason now. It is the Summer Night’s Dream Festival.
The uniqueness of the 1st “Prague – Summer Night’s Dream” festival is in its location. The stage for the cast is placed right in the center of the Golden Prague - on the river Vltava, between Charles Bridge and Bridge Legií. The auditorium is created by Smetanovo nábřeží, Střelecký Island, Bridge Legií, Kampa Park, Charles Bridge, small boats and ships, windows and balcones in the neighbourhood.
For the first time Goran Bregović a His Wedding and Funeral Orchestra will perform on this unique stage on Tuesday July 27th 2010 at 7:30 pm.

The festival is organized by Luka Praha and Lastavica and it is held under the auspices of the Mayor of the City of Prague MUDr. Pavel Bém and the Mayor of the district of Prague 1 Ing. Filip Dvořák

We see each other again with a new band (Gipsy Kings, and then Bob Dylan) on the 2nd “Prague – Summer Night’s Dream” festival in July 2011 at the same place.
